Yes. Whether or not you plan on teaching yoga, this is a wonderful in-wards journey and an opportunity to deepen your own practice and dedicate time to your self-growth.
A reservation requires a deposit that you pay while booking. Prior to arrival, you can settle the full balance via bank transfer or by cash during the welcome dinner (upon arrival). We’re currently working on a payment solution online, in the meantime, we highly recommend pre-settling your balance to avoid carrying large amounts of cash or avoid any extra credit card charges due to currency exchange with our local bank.
Yes. Upon successful completion of our 200-hour training, You will have the necessary foundation to work as a yoga teacher. You will receive your diploma and may also register with the Yoga Alliance at the RYT-200 level (Registered Yoga Teacher 200).
The more comfortable you are as a yoga practitioner, the more you will be able to focus on the teaching and transformational aspects of your training. To take most out of the training we recommend a strong foundation in fundamental yoga postures. Therefore, we suggest that students have a minimum of six months of practice.
We regularly have students that are 50+ in our training. The training is physically demanding and intense and you will be challenged many ways, but not in the sense of physical exertion.
Yes, you will have 1 free day per week to relax and rest, please expect to use your time to study and prepare for your assessments. Depending on how much you wish to take out of this training, the more dedication and involvement the more likely you’re to go through an incredible transformation.
We encourage everyone to take part in the training however, recommend that you check with your doctor before attending.
Majority of our students are not native English speakers. We welcome all nationalities and languages, our material and lessons are delivered in clear but not over-complicated English. Please note anatomy and philosophy are delivered in English and so is the written exam. If your English is limited, we invite you to still come along and learn two skills at once!
Bali is truly magical Island and we can’t say there is a bad month to visit. The rain season runs from November to April, though rainfall is limited and never lasts more than a few hours. You can expect hot sunny days, which will be interrupted with brief tropical downpours.
Yes, we provide our Yoga mats, however, should you wish to bring your own – we highly encourage you to.
We advise that you consult with a travel doctor prior to your departure. Depending on your travel pre/post and duration of stay, different vaccinations may apply.
There are various Visa options available. Most common is the 30 day Visa on arrival which can be purchased at the airport counter and then extended to 60 days stay (please note you will require to extend via an agent)
Should you not wish to stay longer and your stay is less than 30 days, you can obtain free entry. **IMPORTANT** this cannot be extended and you will be required to leave the country after 30 days. You can access more information here.
Q. Should I convert money from my currency to Indonesian Rupiah prior to arrival?
It is not necessary, however, please ensure you’ve enough cash should you wish to pay for Visa on arrival (there are ATM’s available inside the airport before customs).
Once in Ubud, there are many ATM’s that don’t charge additional withdrawal fees.
All of our training to date have sold out, so expect a full class of 28-34 students.
We try our best to ensure that you meet all of the teachers and experience their teaching style – schedule permitting. You will have 1 headteacher and 1 support teacher for your Vinyasa and alignment class to support with adjustments. Some months we have guests teachers and will notify you of this.
A 259 euro (shared room) and 308 euros (private room) non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot. If for some reason you cannot attend the training, you can apply your deposit to any YogaUnion training in the future.
We require a three weeks notice if you wish to change your training dates and move to another. Afterwards you’ll be required to pay the full amount.
**For extra nights – if you booked extra nights prior or post your arrival, the cancellation policy is 10 days, should you change your mind after the 10 days period you are liable for 100% of the cost.
Our training is all-inclusive and includes accommodation, food, and training.
Students are encouraged to explore Bali in their free time as well as before and after the training. It’s very common for students to meet for travel adventures after the training or even before!
Flight tickets, additional excursions, Sunday meals and transport to and from the airport.
