Yin & Restorative Yoga teacher
Grounded in her personal experience of discovering the potential of Yin Yoga, Maya’s life long educational journey started with a Nursing Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Psychology. Yoga came to her life in 2002. through Traditional Hatha & Iyengar practice and the educational, spiritual path as a teacher started in 2018. with multiple YTT’s specialized in Yin & Restorative practice. As our everyday life is fueled by the element of Yang , Yin stillness allows us to restore parts our nature, even in the midst of everyday madness. Taking time to rest serves as a powerful antidote to our stress buildup, helping prevent stress-related health problems; and helps us develop the skills to minimize our own stress response during challenging moments.
As her expertise in the traditional style was deepened in search to find the perfect balance between the mind and the body, that’s where the love towards Yin came as a primary tool for selfpractice and teaching. Join her guidence and give your body and mind the space it needs.
