Introduction

The following terms and conditions will apply to the use of the website with the trademark «YogaUnion Bali» located at the online address yogaunionbali.com.

Every user who enters and makes use of the website (hereinafter referred to as “visitor” and/or “user”) is deemed to consent and unconditionally accept the following terms set forth here, without any exception.

If a user does not agree with these terms, then it is their responsibility to refrain from visiting, using the website, as well as from any transaction or use of the website’s services.

1. Booking and Payments

A deposit or full payment is required to secure your place in a YogaUnion training.

By proceeding with a booking and submitting a deposit payment through the website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the YogaUnion training policies.

Remaining balances may be payable prior to arrival or upon arrival depending on the program selected.

If paying the remaining balance onsite, payment may be processed in local currency according to the current bank exchange rate.

International transaction fees may apply depending on your bank or country of residence.

YogaUnion operates multiple yoga shalas and training venues. For Bali trainings, shala placement is tentative and will be determined based on availability at the time the deposit payment is received.

Venue assignments may therefore change depending on operational needs, scheduling, or availability.

2. Cancellation Policy

All deposits and course payments are non-refundable, as accommodations, teachers, and operational arrangements must be secured in advance.

Deposits may be transferred as credit toward another YogaUnion training where permitted.

No credit or refund will be provided for:

• Late arrivals
• Early departures
• Missed sessions

Once a training program has begun, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

YogaUnion is not responsible for expenses related to cancelled participation, including flights, accommodation, visa costs, or lost income.

3. Travel and Health Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain valid travel and health insurance before attending a training.

Insurance should ideally cover:

• Medical emergencies
• Trip cancellation
• Lost baggage
• Travel delays

YogaUnion Bali is not responsible for injury, illness, or accidents occurring during travel or during participation in the program.

Participants must assess their own health and fitness prior to attending.

Pregnant participants must consult a physician before joining the program and participate at their own risk.

4. Participant Responsibilities

By registering for a YogaUnion training, submitting your student profile form, or making a deposit payment through the website, you confirm that:

• All information provided to YogaUnion is accurate and truthful.
• You have read and accepted the YogaUnion training policies.
• You are responsible for your physical and mental wellbeing throughout the program.
• Any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed prior to participation.

Failure to disclose relevant medical or psychological conditions may result in termination of participation without refund.

YogaUnion programs may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, and participation is undertaken at your own risk.

5. Program Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and other students.

YogaUnion reserves the right to remove participants from the program without refund if behavior is inappropriate or disruptive.

The use of illegal drugs or substances during the training is strictly prohibited.

6. Attendance and Certification

Full attendance is required for successful completion of a training.

YogaUnion reserves the right to withhold certification if:

• Attendance requirements are not met
• Course assessments are incomplete
• Participation standards are not fulfilled

7. Liability Disclaimer

YogaUnion Bali is not liable for:

• Personal injury
• Illness
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Travel disruptions

Participants attend and participate in all activities at their own risk and accept full responsibility for their health and safety.

8. Photography and Media

YogaUnion may capture photos and videos during trainings for marketing or promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify the team in advance.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, manuals, videos, and teaching content provided during the training are the intellectual property of YogaUnion.

These materials may not be copied, shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

10. Changes to Programs

YogaUnion reserves the right to modify training schedules, teachers, venues, or course content when necessary due to operational, logistical, or safety considerations.

Because YogaUnion operates across multiple yoga shalas and partner venues in Bali, training locations may change depending on availability at the time of booking or deposit confirmation.

Participants acknowledge that venue allocation is determined operationally and may not always match preliminary or promotional descriptions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of:

• Indonesia, for programs and services operated in Bali, Indonesia; and
• Greece, for services, operations, or contractual administration conducted through YogaUnion’s European business entity.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions or participation in YogaUnion programs shall be subject to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction depending on where the service or contractual relationship is administered.
