GREECE 50H BREATH & SOMATICS TTC

GREECE 50H BREATH & SOMATICS TTC

A transformational trauma-informed journey into the foundations of Breathwork, Somatics, and Nervous System Awareness, held by the calming rhythm of the Ionian Sea and the grounding presence of nature.

An invitation to return home to your body, while learning to guide others from a place of safety, clarity, and embodied presence.

Introduction

Breath & Somatics Teacher Training is a powerful 50-hour immersion into transformation, self-discovery, and embodied facilitation.

Set in the serene coastal village of Mytikas, Greece, this training blends somatic tools, breathwork flows, emotional release journeys, fascia-based practices, and nervous system tracking and regulation within a naturally grounding environment.

Surrounded by sea, sunlight, and stillness, you will explore how the body holds experience, how breath shapes your inner landscape, and how to create lasting shifts through embodied awareness.

Whether you are deepening your personal journey or expanding your professional path, this training equips you with the tools to hold space for 1:1 and group settings with clarity, compassion, integrity, and confidence

Here, we work at the meeting point of the four bodies (mental, emotional, physical, and energetic) through experiential, bottom-up based practices.

You will learn to regulate, release, and rewire within yourself while developing the skills to guide others safely through transformational experiences.

This is not just a training. It is a return.
To the intelligence of the body. To the wisdom of the breath. To your own inner knowing.

About Pranayama

This is not a classical pranayama certification, although it includes elements inspired by traditional pranayama practices. We honor the roots of these practices while adapting them responsibly for modern, trauma-aware therapeutic contexts.

Requirements

This training is open to all bodies and ways of being, including neurodivergent and trauma-impacted humans, and is held with trauma-informed care and language.

It honours different ways of learning, processing, and engaging. There is no one way to move through this work, and you’re not expected to fit into a linear approach.

No prior certification is required. A basic familiarity with breath and body awareness, and an openness to explore your inner experience, is enough.

We ask for a willingness to be present, to respect consent and boundaries, and to move with care — for yourself and for others.

The Take-Away

Graduates leave with structured facilitation frameworks, breathwork sequencing guides, and integration templates to confidently design and guide sessions from start to finish.

You will learn over 20 breathing patterns and flows, rooted in functional and therapeutic breathwork, applied across regulation, emotional processing, activation, and integration – giving you clarity on when and how to use each safely and effectively.

Alongside this, you’ll build a toolkit of more than 60 somatic practices, including selfregulation and co-regulation techniques for grounding, nervous system tracking, and emotional integration.

The training also covers parts-work and trigger navigation, as well as fascia-based tools, manoeuvres and journeys, helping you understand how patterns live in the body and how to work with them in a safe, non-invasive way.

A strong emphasis is placed on trauma-informed skills – including consent, boundaries, pacing, and nervous system awareness – so you can hold space with clarity and care.

You will learn how to guide both 1:1 sessions and group experiences, adapting breath and somatic practices to different individuals, needs, and nervous system states.

More than learning individual tools, you’ll understand how to structure them into coherent, effective sessions, creating a flow of safe and profound transformation through both theory and embodied practice.

The Completion

Upon completion of the training, you’ll receive an internationally recognized Yoga Alliance certification for the 50-hour Breath & Somatics Teacher Training, empowering you to share your knowledge and practice with others across the globe.

This certification not only validates your commitment but also reflects your readiness to guide with authenticity, compassion, and presence.

A minimum of 95% attendance is required to receive certification, as the training is experiential and each part builds on the next.

There is no final exam. Instead, learning is integrated throughout the training through daily peer facilitation, where you will practice guiding in real time and receive direct feedback to support your growth and confidence.

At YogaUnion, we see this course as more than professional development, it’s a journey of personal transformation.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, enhanced facilitation skills, and the confidence to create safe, embodied, and heart-centered spaces for others.

How your days will unfold

08:00 – 9:15 | Morning Breath & Somatic Practices

Each day is centred around an element of nature, offering a different way to meet your body and system, gently building capacity while staying rooted in your own rhythm.

We open each morning with gentle yet powerful somatic and breathwork flow designed to awaken body awareness and nervous system wisdom in order to either ground, regulate, process, activate and integrate the four bodies of the human-BEing (physical, emotional, mind and spiritual).

Through these practices, you’re invited to notice where tension is held, soften into presence, and arrive with more clarity and connection to your body’s natural wisdom.

These practices help you arrive fully: regulated, grounded, and connected, before we move deeper into the day’s exploration.

09:15 – 11:00 | Breakfast and Self-Reflection

After your morning practice, enjoy a nourishing plant-based breakfast designed to refuel your body, balance your energy, and gently awaken your senses.

We offer fresh, wholesome meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients, seasonal produce, and Mediterranean inspiration – supporting vitality, simplicity, and natural nourishment.
It’s more than a meal – it’s a moment to pause, connect, and take in the peaceful rhythm of coastal life.

Each bite supports your practice, leaving you feeling light, grounded, and deeply nourished.

A nourishing breakfast is followed by time for embodiment, journaling, reflection, or quiet integration.

11:00 – 13:00 | Breath-Somatics Theory

Late mornings are dedicated to structured theory sessions, taught by a neuroscientist,  fascia-work, psoas, parts and triggers work taught by specialists, and advanced breathwork facilitators.

These classes focus on Breath & Somatics theory, nervous system literacy, and understanding how these principles apply to daily life and regulation. You’ll explore each topic in depth, supported by real case examples and practical frameworks for creating safe, attuned spaces.

13:00 – 14:30 | Lunch & Integration Break

Enjoy a delicious, plant-based lunch. Rooted in ancient principles and crafted by skilled chefs, each meal blends local, organic ingredients, local fruits, and superfoods to fuel your body and support your practice.

This is more than just lunch – it’s a flavorful, energizing pause that connects you to the heart of Greek wellness and embodied living.

14:30 – 15:00 | Q&A and Case Studies

Dedicated time to deepen your understanding through real-life scenarios and guided reflection.

We explore case studies from practice, looking at different nervous system responses, facilitation challenges, and how to respond with clarity and care. This is a space to ask questions, refine your approach, and bridge theory with real-world application — supporting you to feel more prepared and confident in your role as a facilitator.

15:00 – 16:15 | Afternoon Breath & Embodiment Workshop

Afternoon sessions focus on guided breathwork practices, combined with somatic tools to reawaken the body after rest and bring you back into presence.

These workshops support deeper embodiment, allowing you to explore breath and sensation through direct experience, while building confidence in how you guide and hold space. Through practice, you begin to trust your own rhythm, your perception, and your way of working with others.

16:15 – 17:30 | Peer Facilitation Practice

A space to integrate what you’ve learned through direct experience.

You’ll practice guiding the breath and somatic flows explored throughout the day, applying structure, pacing, and presence in real time. These sessions support you in building confidence step by step, while learning to read the room, respond to different nervous system states, and adapt your approach for individuals and groups.

You’ll receive grounded feedback to refine your facilitation, deepen your understanding, and grow into your own way of holding space.

17:30 – 18:15 | Group Sharing, Support & Integration

A space to land together, gently closing the day through connection and reflection.

We come into group sharing, supported by simple co-regulation and somatic practices, allowing what has moved during the day to settle and integrate. This is a space to be witnessed, to listen, and to stay with your experience in a grounded way, helping you transition into the evening feeling more settled, connected, and at ease.

Evenings close with a comforting, plant-based dinner, crafted to support recovery and relaxation.
