This is a very exciting program for you who wants to gain the most valuable knowledge of yoga practice within a short of period of time. This special workshop will allow you to learn and explore the benefits of practicing yoga movements such as Arm balances, Backbends, Inversions, Jump through – Jump back etc.

Featuring our guest instructor Savvas, who has practiced yoga for over 20 years, having come from a background of sport and fitness. He will be your amazing guide and teacher during your workshop.

We are committed to sharing and teaching this practice in a way that really gives you all that yoga has to offer. We have experienced and witnessed the transformation, growth and life-changing impact that our workshop deliver to each of our students.

Savvas Giantsis

Senior lead teacher

Savvas Giantsis is the owner and founder of the House of yoga since 2007. After many years of experience in the field of sports and fitness he’s been practicing Yoga since 2000, after training in Vinyasa Yoga taught by John Tomayo, at the famous Atmananta Yoga studio, where he worked for 2 years, as well as at other studios and gyms in New York.

He attended Vinyasa flow classes for five months , in Los Angeles. Then for the next 2 years he stayed close to Dharma Mittra in NY. who was an inspiration for his courses.

In 2005 he makes his first trip to Mysore in India to be trained in the system of Ashtanga by its founder Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy , a destination which he tries to visit every year. In parallel, to this day he has lessons with many teachers abroad and in Greece.

Savvas is Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS) – House of Yoga.

This workshop is suitable for those who are passionate about yoga and want to add to their pre-existing skills as yoga teachers or simply want to immerse themselves in a deeply healing and restorative journey of self awareness and realization.

The workshop will feature all original training live with Savvas!

The workshop can either be followed on a daily basis or taken as a 3 day – workshop with an option to have a complete package including accommodation and meals or workshop only.

  • Day 1 – Afternoon session of Pranayama & Vinyasa Yoga for Strength
  • Day 2 – Morning session of Pranayama & Dharma Yoga & Afternoon Session of Hip Opener Workshop
  • Day 3 – Morning session of Pranayama & Full Body Vinyasa Yoga Flow & Afternoon session of Arm Balances Workshop
  • Day 4 – Morning Session of Inversions Workshop

• Daily morning pranayama, breathing techniques and meditation.

• Daily Yin Yoga practice focused on different elements.

• Daily analysis of all the Yin Yoga poses, the alignment, modifications and how to create your own sequences.

• Specialised workshops in a variety of different subjects including Philosophy & Anatomy of Yin Yoga.

•  Experiencing different types of Yoga lessons, including Vinyasa, Hatha and Yoga Nidra.
